The whole journey, on one page 🗺️

By the end of this course you will have a real website live on the internet, built with an AI helper. Here is the whole road, start to finish — five simple stops.

The rupee-honest truth: two things normally cost money on this road. First, the AI plan — a paid monthly subscription (the bigger cost, roughly Rs 1700+ a month) if you do not already have one. Second, the domain name (your site address) — rented yearly, often Rs 500 to 1500. The hosting is free, and HTTPS is free and automatic.

रुपये की सच्ची बात: इस रास्ते पर सामान्य रूप से दो चीज़ों का पैसा लगता है। पहला, AI प्लान — एक पेड मासिक सब्सक्रिप्शन (बड़ा खर्च, करीब 1700+ रुपये महीना) अगर वह पहले से आपके पास न हो। दूसरा, डोमेन नेम (आपकी साइट का पता) — सालाना किराए पर, अक्सर 500 से 1500 रुपये। होस्टिंग फ़्री है, और HTTPS फ़्री और अपने-आप मिलता है।

What "building a website with AI" really means

You will not learn to type code by hand. Instead you describe what you want in plain language — "make a one-page portfolio with my name, a photo and a contact link" — and an agentic coding tool like Claude Code or Codex writes the actual HTML, CSS and JavaScript for you.

But the AI is not the boss — you are. You decide what to build, you read and test what it makes, and you tell it what to fix. The AI is the fast hands; the judgement stays with you.

"AI से वेबसाइट बनाना" असल में क्या है

आप हाथ से कोड टाइप करना नहीं सीखोगे। बल्कि आप आम भाषा में बताओगे कि क्या चाहिए — "मेरे नाम, एक फ़ोटो और कॉन्टैक्ट लिंक वाला एक-पेज पोर्टफोलियो बनाओ" — और Claude Code या Codex जैसा एजेंटिक कोडिंग टूल असली HTML, CSS और JavaScript आपके लिए लिख देता है।

पर मालिक AI नहीं — आप हो। क्या बनाना है आप तय करते हो, जो वह बनाता है उसे आप पढ़ते और टेस्ट करते हो, और क्या ठीक करना है वह आप बताते हो। AI तेज़ हाथ है; समझ-बूझ आपकी रहती है।

Who you are in all this: the operator

Think of yourself as the operator, or the boss, of a very fast helper. Your job is to plan clearly, give good instructions, and check the work. That skill — not coding — is what this course builds.

You will meet a few new words along the way. Here is a friendly preview so nothing feels scary later:

• Domain — your site address, like skillthegap.com (rented yearly).
• Host — the place on the internet where your site files live.
• Deploy — putting your files on the host so the site goes live.
• Prompt — the plain-language instruction you give the AI.
• Terminal — a plain text window where you type commands; your AI tool runs here.
• Install — a one-time setup that puts the AI tool onto your computer.
• CLI — a command-line tool: a program you run by typing, not by clicking.

ख़ुद को एक बहुत तेज़ मददगार का ऑपरेटर, यानी मालिक, समझो। आपका काम है साफ़ प्लान बनाना, अच्छे निर्देश देना, और काम जाँचना। यही हुनर — कोडिंग नहीं — इस कोर्स में बनता है।

रास्ते में कुछ नए शब्द मिलेंगे। यह रही एक दोस्ताना झलक ताकि बाद में कुछ डरावना न लगे:

• डोमेन — आपकी साइट का पता, जैसे skillthegap.com (सालाना किराए पर)।
• होस्ट — इंटरनेट पर वह जगह जहाँ आपकी साइट की फ़ाइलें रहती हैं।
• डिप्लॉय — फ़ाइलें होस्ट पर चढ़ाना ताकि साइट लाइव हो जाए।
• प्रॉम्प्ट — AI को दिया आम-भाषा निर्देश।
• टर्मिनल — एक सादा टेक्स्ट विंडो जहाँ आप कमांड टाइप करते हो; आपका AI टूल यहीं चलता है।
• इंस्टॉल — एक बार का सेटअप जो AI टूल को आपके कंप्यूटर पर डाल देता है।
• CLI — कमांड-लाइन टूल: एक प्रोग्राम जिसे आप क्लिक नहीं, टाइप करके चलाते हो।
